Using Freeform Labels

Free form labels are found in the Print Labels option of the User menu. 

Use this option to quickly print FREEFORM type labels from the system. Refer to LABELS for other type of labels, such as Shipping or Inventory labels.

1. Select the Print Labels option from the User menu.

2. Select from the first window to work with a specific label, or work with Label Templates.

3. Use the Available Action Links below for further information.

The following fields are used on the Label Template screen:

• LABEL NAME - A description of the label that was selected for printing.
• WIDTH/HEIGHT - The label dimensions that will print (inches).
• CUSTOMER ID If the label template selected includes fields from the Customer database file, you must enter the Customer Codes for whom labels should print. (Search characters available)
• VENDOR ID If the label template selected includes fields from the Vendor database file, you must enter the Vendor Codes for whom labels should print (search characters available).
• ITEM ID If the label template selected includes fields from the Item database file, you must enter the Item Codes for which labels should print.
• Graphical - Render the label image to the printer as a graphic (most common), or as PCL (printer control language)
• Rotation - If a PCL format, the rotation desired. See message line for options.
• Direct to another Printer? If Y, will allow you to specify another printer on the network.
• NUMBER OF LABELS The number of labels that should be printed.
